Zeenat Aman, lady with a modern look, was born on 19-11-1951 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She is an Indian Film Actress & Model who mainly known for her work in Bollywood Industry. She is the 1st South Asian women, who won Miss Asia Pacific 1970 title.

Zeenat Aman was born to a prosperous family in Mumbai. His father Amanullah was a famous writer of Bollywood. Her father had written for films such as Mughal-e-Azam and Pakiza. Amanullah Bhopal used to keep taboo from the family to rule the state. When Zeenat was only 13 years old, her father died. Later, her mother Sidda married a German man, Heinz and went to Germany. Where she took the German citizenship.
 
She completed her schooling from Panchgani and later she studied further in Los Angeles, University of Southern California, but she could not complete the degree. On her return to India, she worked as a journalist for 'Femina'. They liked modelling In 1966, for the first time as a modelling for the Taj Mahal Tea brand. After that, he participated in Miss India, but he was the second runner-up. 
 
She participated in Miss India Pacific in 1970 and was successful in winning and also became the first South Asian woman to win this award. After this success, Zeenat went on mood towards films. Her career started in 1971, from the film Hulchul. In that film, she got a small role. The second time she got the chance to work in the film from the movie Hungama (1971). There was also singer Kishore Kumar in that film. But the film did not succeed. She got Frustrating, then she returned to Germany again.
 
Dev Anand gave her first chance in the movie Hare Rama Hare Krishna (1972).In which she played the character of Zaheeda.For her brilliant acting, she was also given the Filmfare Best Supporting Actress Award for this film. She also got the Best Actress BFJA Award Only then, Dev Anand Sahib made her a star overnight by offering this film. Especially, the movie has become the most populous because of the Dum Maro Dum song. After this, in 1978, Zainat, Satyam Shivam Sundaram, was a super-duper hit. 'Satyam Shivam Sundaram', was Raj Kapoor's big-budget film, Zainit Aman played a very important role. she was also nominated for the Filmfare Best Actress Award for this film.
 
Zeenat also worked in the Hollywood movie Shalimar that same year co-starring Dharmendra and proved to get failure at the box office in the United States and as well as in India. In the 80’s she appeared in the number of the multistarrer superhit love triangle films such as Alibaba Aur 40 Chor, Qurbani, Lawaaris, and Dostana. Her last one movie was Gawahi, in 1989. Then after she decided to take the break from the film industry and she made her come back again in 1999 through the film Bhopal Express. Aman last appeared in the Bollywood film Strings of Passion in 2014.

She was born to Amanullah Khan and Scindia Heinz. She first married Sanjay Khan in 1978 and divorced her in 1979. She then married to Mazhar Khan in 1985, but her husband died in 1998. However, she is survived by the two sons Ajan and Jahan.
