The Big News Came Out That This Years IPL is Postponed and if it happens it will be curtailed one. BCCI chairman Sourav Ganguly had a meeting with all the franchise owners on 14th March 2020 that as of now they have decided to postpone IPL 2020. All the franchise owners and BCCI came to a conclusion that they are ok with the BCCI's decision of postponing or even scrapping the IPL 2020. Kings XI Punjab's owner Ness Wadia said that health comes first and that even if this year's IPL doesn't happen they are still ok with it. However, all the franchise will suffer huge loses in this case and also the broadcasters and BCCI as well. Not just the IPL the India vs South Africa series got cancelled and also all the cricketing events that were scheduled have been put to halt. The virus effect is not just limited to Cricket but with all the sporting events as Tennis has also been suspended for 6 weeks and all the European Football Leagues too have halted their matches till the end of April.
