American retired professional wrestler Kevin Nash married his wife Tamara Nash in 1988, but 12 years later, they separated for some time before reconciling. The Nash couple also welcomed a son named Tristen, who passed away in 2022.
Kevin Scott Nash, a five-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion, is already a noted name among the wrestling legends.
Despite his professional success, he is not far from controversies—that include his arrests for assaulting a drunk man and battery against his son. However, his name was cleared both times, stating that he had taken a stand for the correct deed.
Having served in the military from 1981 to 1983, Nash decided to try wrestling. By the early 1990s, he had become famous as “Diesel” with his wins in the WWF World, Intercontinental, and Tag Team Championships (the WWF Triple Crown).
Likewise, he was a founding member of the influential wrestling group the New World Order (nWo) in WCW, alongside Hulk Hogan and Scott Hall. Kevin retired from professional wrestling on January 5, 2020.
The two-time WWE Hall of Famer is also an actor and podcaster. While he doesn’t wrestle these days, he is signed to the WWE under the Legends contract.

Kevin Nash lives a blissful married life with his wife, Tamara McMichael Nash. The couple walked down the aisle in a private ceremony on October 29, 1988, when the wrestler was 29.
Kevin and his wife have been through thick and thin. They have faced some issues, including a brief separation in 2000 when Kevin was at the peak of his career.
Until now, it has not been revealed what led the couple to part ways for a short time. However, their love didn’t end, and shortly after their separation, Kevin and Tamara reconciled and began living together.

Kevin Nash And His Wife Welcomed A Son, Tristen Nash: Altercation Of Father & Son
Nash and his wife, Tamara, welcomed their only son, Tristen Nash (now deceased), on June 12, 1996. Many speculated that he would follow in his dad’s footsteps, but Tristen chose to get into music.
Tristen was an aspiring musician and poet. He used to receive negative comments regarding his music online, and once, his dad, Kevin, defended him.
Kevin posted a statement on his Twitter account slamming the haters with negative comments, “I hope you wake up with a brain tumor tomorrow.”
Despite such love for his child, the retired wrestler once made headlines after his altercation with his son, which even led to his arrest. So, what had happened?
In December 2014, Tristen was drunk and started abusing his mother in front of Kevin. Following that, Kevin allegedly got physical with his son, elbowing and, eventually, clotheslining him.
After police arrived at his residence, they arrested Kevin initially as he seemed to be the primary aggressor. Two hours later, Tamara called 911, claiming that her son was attacking her.
So, police came back to the house and took Tristen into custody as he was arrested for battery. Deputies hauled them to jail in the early morning of December 24, but they were released later that day on their recognizance.

Kevin Nash’s Son, Tristen Nash’s Alcohol Abuse And Death From Cardiac Arrest
Nash and his spouse, Tamara, faced a tragedy after their only son, Tristen Nash, died on October 20, 2022, due to cardiac arrest.
Later, reports suggest that a seizure as a result of alcohol withdrawal syndrome triggered the cardiac arrest. Kevin talked about his son’s passing in his podcast Kliq THIS, saying, “The seizure caused a cardiac arrest.”
Nash recalled the moment, “He was basically dead in his room on the floor with EMT working on him. And they got him back and got him in the ambulance and tried to save his life. And, so, to the people at Halifax Hospital — doctors and nurses — I thank you.”
Similarly, Kevin disclosed that he and his son decided to quit drinking after a couple of incidents, including their altercation. The father-son duo had agreed to cut the alcohol, but they did not feel good during the withdrawal.

Kevin Scott Nash was born on July 9, 1959, to his parents, Robert Nash and Wanda Nash, in Detroit, Michigan, U.S. The retired wrestler was raised in a devout Christian family.
Furthermore, Kevin is not the only child of his parents, as online portals claim that he grew up with his two siblings, Kim and Paul Myers. There are no details about his siblings, as they have stayed far from the public eye.
On August 6, 2023, Nash mentioned his sister Kim in an Instagram post. Sadly, on April 4, 1968, Kevin lost his father, Robert, to a heart attack. At the time of his death, Robert was just 36 years old, while Kevin was eight.
Following the death of Robert, Kevin’s mother took care of the family on her own.
Unfortunately, the family was struck with another tragedy when Wanda passed away on December 27, 1994, due to breast cancer. Wanda reportedly dealt with breast cancer for four long years.
