Caris Coleman Levert was born on August 25, 1994, in Columbus, Ohio, U.S., to his parents, Kim Levert and Darryl Wayne Levert. Despite being a native of Columbus, Levert moved to Pickerington, Ohio, in second grade.
His mother, Kim, is a dedicated first-grade teacher in the Columbus City Schools system. Likewise, Levert’s father, Darryl, was a graphic designer with a passion for basketball, having played at the Division III level.
