Bellamkonda Sreenivas has been involved in controversy in the past. It all started when VL Sravan Kumar filed a case with the Central Crime Station (CCS) police as the director of a city court.
Sravan claimed that he was cheated by Sreenivas and his father, Suresh. He approached the court, complaining that the producer and his son took Rs 85 lakh in installments in 2018 to make a film.
Sravan also claimed that the producer had promised to hire him as an assistant producer for a film to be directed by Malineni Gopichand but later didn’t respond.
Suresh later opened up about this matter, saying that Sravan was the person from his village who used to ask for movie tickets. He even said that he does not have financial dealings with Sravan.
Suresh said the cheating allegation was an attempt to defame his family’s reputation. He has also targeted his two sons, Sreenivas and Ganesh. Later, it was reported that Sreenivas was seeking legal action to file a defamation case against the fake allegation.
