Max Green started his career with the famous rock band Escape the Fate. He is one of the founding members of Escape the Fate, where he was even a bassist and backing vocalist. In 2006, the band released their debut EP, There’s No Sympathy for the Dead.
The band gained widespread recognition while Green dealt with some problems in 2010 when he overdosed on heroin. Following that, Max was removed from the band. Rumors even circulated saying that Max left the band.
However, he later returned. On March 4, 2012, Green shared a social media post saying he was not playing for Escape the Fate due to personal and musical differences.
