Thekkek’s Career As A Producer And Writer
Antony Thekkek has established himself as a notable figure in the film industry, not just as an actor but also as a producer and writer. After making his first movie in 2002, Thekkek has also worked on other projects.
He is an executive producer of Nothing But Life, released in 2004. In 2008, Antony made a hit film, Calcutta News. The most significant point of his producing career came in 2010 when Thekkek made an American independent crime-thriller film, Ca$h.
His other credits are Janaki, 10 Kalpanakal, Monsoon Mangoes, Papilio Buddha, Parudeesa, Ivan Megharoopan, The Wedding, and Incident at Alma. He is also the lyricist in the movie Parudeesa (2012).

Antony Thekkek has a supportive wife, Prema Thekkek. The Thekkek couple has been married for a long time, but their wedding details are not accessible in the media as they have kept them confidential.
Thekkek’s wife, Prema, is a skilled nursing facility owner in Vacaville. She owns a skilled nursing facility management company, Paksn Inc. In 2023, she made headlines after her company became involved in a controversy.
Reportedly, her company and six skilled nursing facilities under her shadow violated the Anti-Kickback Statute, which forbids paying doctors to refer items or services covered by Medicare.
From 2009 to 2021, under the direction of Thekkek and Paksn, six facilities allegedly compensated physicians under the cover of administrative services, but prosecutors claim these were kickbacks for patient referrals.
Later, they agreed to pay nearly $46 million to resolve the allegations. Prema is also a producer and has various credits working alongside her husband in projects like Headmaster and Ca$h.
